Dear Diary: Internship Completed, entering Final Year.

Its been 3 years since my last visit to this blog. Time has changed, place changes too. Next week will be my final year of Bachelor Degree in Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia. I did my internship last 3 months and i am now realizing my dream, to be in engineering field.

Its fun to look back what i've written when i've graduated from my diploma last 5 years. Things were kinda hazy at first, but the future is beyond our control and that's the truth. God had set the path and you just go with it.

Now, excuse me for my rage in my mother-tongue.  :)

Sblm start internship kat company ni, aku macam nervous and hesitated sbb tak tahu what a big company will expect from an intern kan. But luckily, all colleagues gave their best cooperation. Dorg byk berkongsi tentang inside out of the industry. In contrast, i'm getting more confused. Like, is this what i've wanted? Betul ke aku nak masuk dlm bidang ni for the rest of my life? God had given me a "reset" button to go through this process all over again, and i shall use it wisely. >__<

Dlm company tu ramai overseas graduated, antaranya ialah my supervisors. Both of them were Aussie's graduated. Cuma bezanya yg sorg tu pernah berkerja dekat Australia meanwhile yg sorg lagi tu had to comeback homecountry sbb die bonded with the company's scholar.

Both of them have interesting views on engineering field. Dorg pun tak pernah tahu pasal Rolling Stock until they did their first job. I asked one of my supervisor, what did he think of me, as in general? He said i'm talkactive (lol, really?) and i know what i've wanted.

When he said such thing, i feel, overwhelmed and enlighten. Never anyone told me that i'm a focus tp bila org luar yg baru kenal aku about 2 weeks, said such things, i felt empowered. Sbb for 2 years, i've been changing job, 4 times. Aku ingat i am the most unfocussed person that dont know what she wanted in her life and what to do with it. *bricks*

To be honest, dpt masuk dlm package "Electric Trains" really made me love this field. Kalau aku dapat teruskan dlm bidang Rolling Stock, i want to stay at Electric Trains, but then i realized that this company is not a rolling stock company, they manage the project, once project ni habis, they will no longer deal with the train and will focus on their main business, which is civil work. And what im gonna do with Civil? I am an Electrical and Electronics background.

On my last day of internship tu, aku pegi lunch dgn these guys from other package, they are dealing with "Platform Sliding Doors" and mase dorg study dulu dorg amik Mechanical. So aku mintak pendapat dorg about this railway industry. They were pretty much happy with what they have right now, and one of them was really optimist bila aku provoked "eventhough this thing not related with what you've learned in school?"

He was like "you dont always work in the field of your study. You have to open your mind for a better opportunities." Yeah, i must agreed to that, however the main reason i further studies is to get the job in a field that i like, i am not in a "trial and error mode" anymore. *sigh*

So, this coming semesters will be my final year in the uni and i am thrilled to involve in uni's activities. Aku apply byk program under uni, i want to experience all. Aku jadi tamak. *grins*
